In the last two years, I’ve moved 7 times. Yes you are reading this correctly! I’ve moved for all sorts of reasons and honestly 7 doesn’t even compare to the lifetime of moving I’ve done. Some may call the moving chaotic, unstable or just a sign of running away from reality, but let’s be real… having a place to call home, where I can go for an emergency, a break after a long trip or even for a sunday dinner then come on! Give me that!
For a long time I was angry with the Lord for not giving me that “home” most people have but then he told me that home isn’t a specific place, its Him. he is my home, his people are my home and I am so thankful that the Lord has never failed to give a me a home time and time again. I recently moved again (like yesterday) and as I unpacked and set up all over again I couldn’t help but cry. I mean I just had the absolute worst back pain and had to carry stuff upstairs! Haha! In all seriousness, I became overwhelmed that I had to do this once again and for just a second I lost sight of the Lord’s goodness and provision.
When I woke the next morning, tears came again, and this time they were from the overwhelming love and provisions the Lord has for my life. I don’t say this lightly. He has blessed me with homes and more for the past 6 years! If you’ve ever heard my testimony you would know just how serious I am when I say that HE IS JEHOVAH JIREH. Now that I am in a new home (RENT FREE), with strangers (we’ll be friends soon), and 2 hour bus rides, well I am more than ever excited to plant the seeds, and see the fruit before stepping into the next season of life.
Preparation for 11 months is a big task but so many of YOU have been beyond helpful in covering me in prayer, partnering with me in my funding and encouraging what the Lord called me to do. I have been so thankful for ALL OF YOU! I am approaching my first deadline in 2 weeks of 5,000. I am currently 3,610 dollars away from that. I know! It sounds like a huge number and impossible but MAN THE LORD PROVIDES! I am 100% in awe of who He has and what He has done and this is no different. Please partner with me in prayer and funding if you feel led. I can’t wait to update you so soon to brag about God’s goodness!!!!!
